Wayne Thiebaud (1920-2021) lived most of his life in Northern CA, and it’s no surprise that he’s a great favorite both locally and beyond. The retrospective of his work at the Legion of Honor is drawing large crowds, and we have a panel of museum guides to discuss his paintings and give you things to think about when you go. The show is on view through Aug. 17.
