I usually present this program every three months. It tells the story of the band from its inception in 1965 until Marty Balin leaves the band in late 1970. It includes some terrific video clips of the Airplane performing at The Fillmore, Monterey Pop, Woodstock and on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. There are also numerous audio clips.

We tell the story of this great San Francisco during the 1960s including their founding, the arrival of Janis Joplin and their great fame following their success at the Monterey Pop Festival in June 1967.
